England`s stalwart Joe Root has been a shadow of his former self since the start of the series apart from one odd good score in the first Test. Root is also on the verge of breaking several records, but has been struggling to accumulate runs against the Shubman Gill-led India. He needs 45 runs to become the first batter to score 3000 against India in Test cricket
