With this half-century, he joined an elite list of cricketers who have a ten-fer during a match and a fifty on an England tour. He has now joined the likes of Hugh Trumble, Shane Warne, Imran Khan, Keith Miller and Richard Hadlee to do so

The half-century also helped him become just the fourth Indian batsman to score a men`s Test half-century at number four in England, in this century. The other three Indian batsmen are Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill

Akash is also the first Indian night watchman to score 50-plus runs since Amit Mishra (84 runs) against the same opponent at the same venue back in 2011
