Pacers Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood were a part of the squad that defeated New Zealand to clinch the T20 World Cup 2021 title. In the final, completing their spell of four overs, Starc and Cummins conceded 60 and 27 runs respectively, without claiming any wickets. The trio was also part of the Australian team that played in the ODI World Cup 2023. In the final against India, Hazlewood and Cummins registered two wickets each to their names. They completed their 10-over spell and were smashed for 60 (Hazlewood) and 34 runs (Cummins). The 35-year-old Starc managed to scalp three wickets for 55 runs in 10 overs
