<p>Bologna won the Italian Cup on Wednesday after beating <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/football/article/luka-jovic-shoots-ac-milan-into-italian-cup-final-with-derby-double-23525885" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>AC Milan</strong></a> 1-0 in Rome, ending a 51-year wait for a major trophy.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Dan Ndoye scored the winner in the 53rd minute to give Bologna their first trophy since winning the cup in 1974.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This was also manager Vincenzo Italiano&rsquo;s first major honour, having lost two Conference League titles and the 2023 Italian Cup while in-charge of Fiorentina.</p>
