Liverpool boss Arne Slot praised Mohamed Salah after the “unbelievable” Egyptian equalled Liverpool’s record for assists in the English Premier League by setting up Virgil van Dijk’s winner in Wednesday’s 1-0 victory at Sunderland.
Salah’s latest assist — a perfectly weighted corner that Van Dijk headed (61st min) — took his tally to 92, level with Anfield icon Steven Gerrard.
