Holy Family (Andheri) emerged victorious in the open category of the Legacy Cup football tournament organised by Extonians, the Alumni Association of St Anthony High School, Malwani, at their school ground. Holy Family beat Sri Sai Vidya Mandir (Aksa) in the final via coin toss, after the scores at the end of regulation time and tie-breaker were locked at 2-2 and 1-1 respectively. 

Akshay Chavan and Anupam Poojari scored for Holy Family in regulation time while Pranav Palwankar scored in the tie-breaker. For Sri Sai Vidya Mandir, Sunny Koli netted twice in the match while Tushar Koli scored in the shootout. In the veteran’s category, St Xavier’s (Vile Parle) beat St Anne’s (Orlem) 2-1. Nicarno Misquitta scored the second goal for St Xavier’s after the first was an own-goal. Avron Vaz scored for St Anne’s.
