Baychimo, the three-year-old dark bay colt (French Navy - Lady Sergeant) who scored on debut at Bangalore despite not keeping a straight course, has last month run an eye-catching mock race at the Pune racetrack to acclimatize himself, and now takes on a formidable set of rivals in the SA Poonawalla Million (Gr 3), the feature event of Sunday`s seven-race card. Though short on experience, I feel the Karanjawala ward will put up a bold show and, with little luck, may stun his more fancied rivals like Zacharias, Ice Of Fire and Gunsmoke.
