Ajay Kumar struck a brace (18th, 44th minute) as Republicans beat Fr Agnel Gymkhana 3-0 in a league match of the BK Mohite memorial hockey tournament at the Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd Stadium recently. Surinder Singh (27th) completed the tally for Republicans.

In another match, Arctic Boys beat Hockey Mira Road (HMR) 3-1. Sandeep Lakra (23rd), Binay Singh (27th) and Sagar Kujur (45th) scored for Arctic Boys while Nitin Dhika (44th) reduced the margin for Hockey Mira Road.
