Having let down a large following twice in succession in class I, Chagall, now demoted to Class II, should make amends and win the feature event

The Pesi Shroff-trained Chagall, on whom apprentice rider S Siddharth will claim a useful five kg allowance, will be most in demand for Wednesday`s feature event, the Kailashpat Singhania Trophy. Chagall had also received inspired support in his last two outings in Class I, but failed to deliver. However, now demoted to Class II, Chagall becomes the automatic choice, especially, as the only horse who could create a flutter, Opus Dei (Neeraj Rawal up), will be going a furlong over his optimum trip. Accordingly, Chagall appeals as the best bet of the Wednesday afternoon.
First race at 1.30 pm.
