US Open runner-up Amanda Anisimova crushed Coco Gauff, the defending champion, 6-1, 6-2 on Saturday to reach her first China Open final. Anisimova faces either fellow American Jessica Pegula or Czechia’s Linda Noskova in Sunday’s final.  

“All my shots were working today. Coco’s a really tough player, so I knew I had to step it up,” said Anisimova.
