Counter-puncher Sumit Nagal blunted the challenge of big-serving Beibit Zhukayev of Kazakhstan 7-6 (9), 6-4 with his perseverance, while Ankita Raina outgunned Hong Kong’s Adithya P Karunaratne 6-1, 6-2 without fuss as the two Indians inched closer to singles medals by reaching the quarter-finals at the Asian Games here on Tuesday.
