India's ace badminton player PV Sindhu described the explosion near Dubai Airport as "tense and scary". She stated that her coach had to quickly escape from the place as he was closest to the smoke and debris.

Sindhu is set to make her appearance at the All England Open Badminton Championships, which will kick off from March 3. Since Saturday, the star badminton player, along with her coach Irwansyah Adi Pratama have been stranded at Dubai airport.
