Singer Pink offers to pay fines of protesting female handball team

The European Handball Federation’s President, Michael Wiederer, later issued a statement, promising to change the rules so everyone can feel comfortable playing the sport regardless of gender.

American pop singer Pink, 41, has backed the protesting Norwegian women’s beach handball team for wanting to wear shorts over bikini bottoms and has offered to pay their fines.
The Grammy’s award winner slammed the sexist rules and insisted she’d be more than happy to pay off the 221 CAD (Rs 13,000) fine.
