St Stanislaus edge out Don Bosco ‘A’ 1-0 to clinch U-10 title

Earlier, St Stanislaus defeated Don Bosco ‘B’ 5-0. A total of nine school teams participated in the league with the top teams from each group qualified for the play-offs

St Stanislaus HS (Bandra) exploited the home conditions as they emerged champions of the Oliver Andrade Trophy, the symbol of supremacy in the MSSA boys under-10 inter-school hockey league, played at the St Stanislaus ground on Friday.
In the three-team championship play-offs, St Stanislaus won both their matches, against Don Bosco (Matunga) ‘A’ and Don Bosco (Matunga) ‘B’ teams to finish with six points, to seal their triumph. Don Bosco ‘A’, having defeated Don Bosco ‘B’ 1-0, finished runners-up.
