India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav claimed his ideal doubles partner, if he were to play tennis, would be MS Dhoni. “Definitely, MS Dhoni. He has got speed, a lot of endurance; he is mentally very tough, and recently, whenever he is not playing cricket, I have seen him playing a lot of tennis. So yes, without a doubt, it would be MS Dhoni,” said Yadav, who was taking in the sights and sounds of Wimbledon on Thursday alongside his wife Devisha, when he was posed the question by Star Sports.

The Indian batter said he is also pining for 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic, who has served as an inspiration to him. “I have definitely come to watch Djokovic. I have been following his career for a very long time. I even read his book ‘Serve to Win’, which really inspired me. I could really relate to his journey and perseverance. The way he keeps going is phenomenal,” said Yadav. The Indian T20I skipper has been out of action since the end of the IPL in June after undergoing a surgery to treat a sports hernia.
