Apple iPhone 17 and 17 Air in massive demand; festive sales set to hit new highs

Apple’s iPhone 17 series is witnessing a sales surge in India, with demand surpassing last year’s iPhone 16 models. Analysts project 28 perc YoY festive sales growth in 2025, with shipments expected to cross 4.5 million. The series also strengthens Apple’s Make in India push with more local manufacturing

The demand for the latest generation iPhone has been in a surge since its introduction on September 9. The iPhone 17 series is also a boost to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, with most of their parts being manufactured in India.
The iPhone 17 Air and 17 models are gaining stronger traction than last year`s Plus and 16 series devices in India. According to vendors and industry analysts, the new 17 series flies off the shelves in the country and is still under very heavy demand, reported by IANS.
