Driven by festive demand, discounts on older models, and Pro model upgrades, Apple is eyeing an 8 perc market share. With new retail stores and local manufacturing, India is set to become central to Apple’s global growth.

The day after US tech giant Apple launched the latest iPhone 17 series, reports suggest that shipments in India are projected to grow by up to 25 per cent. The projection, as per the industry, will reach a record of around 14-15 million units in 2025, as per the news agency IANS.
IANS also reported that the surge in shipments is driven by heavy discounts on older models and strategic pricing of the newly launched iPhone 17 series.
