Josef Fritzl (74), the Austrian accused of caging his daughter in a cellar and raping her for 24 years, has reportedly "converted to Buddhism".
Fritzl learnt about the religion during a holiday in Thailand and has became a follower, hoping to be reincarnated as a decent person in his next life.
Fritzl, who is awaiting a trial on March 16 for murder, rape, slavery, incest, imprisonment and abuse, has even invited psychologists to study his "warped mind'.
He reportedly told his lawyer, "They should look at what makes me tick and learn from it to stop anything like this happening again."
