Make it smooth

Made with farm-frozen superfoods as ingredients, we liked the fact that More Often has a range of bowls and glasses with ingredients where you just need to add preferred liquid, soak overnight or blend (depending on the product) and enjoy. Parth Parmar, founder of More Often believes that since making a smoothie requires you to blend whole ingredients (vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds), you get limitless flavour possibilities, packing in more nutrition in one glass or bowl. Thes vegan-friendly ingredients are blended in cute shapes and frozen until use. We tried Acai+Strawberry (Rs 420), pineapple + matcha (Rs 349); coconut + dragonfruit; tiramisu chia bowl, cocoberry chia bowl (Rs 420); and choc peanut bites (Rs 369). These chef-crafted recipes are ready-to-eat in minutes, gluten-free, refined sugar-free and plant-based making eating superfoods convenient and accessible - best suited for those who have very, very busy lives.

Go lean

In 2019, Mohak Bhingarkar's health emergency made her switch to healthy food, and understand the importance of clean ingredients and meal prep. She started Lean Meal Co, a meal delivery service that focuses on delicious and healthy eats, curated by nutritionists who you can personally consult as well. "As my homemade recipes began growing, so did my desire to share it with others and make it a business. Healthy life is everyone's right and diet is the key to it. My husband's experience in F&B helped put the infrastructure in place and together we started Lean Meal Co," says Bhingarkar, who oversees the recipes and daily meal preparations. We tried a sample meal of paneer bhurji with two toast (Rs 250) for breakfast; basil tossed rice with green Thai curry with carrots, cauliflower and mushroom and an addition of chicken (Rs 450) and baked baby potato with grilled vegetable sticks and sweet chilli fish with dip (Rs 450). We called for vanilla pancake (Rs 250) and chia pudding (Rs 250). The monthly plans are customisable and are inclusive of delivery.

Eating clean

This brainchild of Gurmeet Singh Arora, founder, Health and Beyond Foods, Flax-Healthy Living is for health-conscious individuals seeking nutritious and flavourful meals at the click of a button. He says, "Eating healthy is our responsibility towards our body, and it must feel like a delightful - not taxing - experience. It is about building a lifestyle centred around self-awareness and mindful eating, so we thought it would be good to serve fresh, wholesome ingredients in creative and flavourful combinations." The menu has super bowls, signature salads, fit meals, sandwiches, wraps, juices, and smoothies. We tried their salad bowl (Rs 425), smoothie (Rs 220), seasonal parfait (Rs 275 ) and healthy dessert (Rs 369 )from their internal brand ‘Careless by flax' and felt they were wholesome, without compromising on taste.
