In a grand celebration of love and unity, Sayed Ali Akbar Rizvi, film producer and entrepreneur, exchanged vows with Malika Ali Shirzade, a practising advocate in Bombay High Court. The nuptials took place in the holy city of An-Najaf Al-Asraf, Iraq, amidst family, close friends.

Ali Akbar, is the son of Farah Sultan and Late Sultan Ahmed, a renowned film producer and director, who is till date widely recognized for his contributions to the film industry. Whereas, Malika Ali Shirzade, is the daughter of Mariyam and Ali Akbar Shirzade, who has made a name for herself in the legal fraternity and was awarded as an inspiring leader, 2023.
The couple's union was solemnized in a traditional Shia Muslim ceremony, by esteemed Ayatollah Sayed Eiz Al Deen Al Hakeem who recited their nikah. Ayatollah Sayed Eiz Al Deen Al Hakeem is known as one of the most revered priests in the Shia Muslim community, by reciting the nikah he has added a touch of spiritual significance to the joyous occasion.
During the ceremony, Ayatollah Sayed Eiz Al Deen Al Hakeem expressed his blessings for the newlyweds, stating, "May their union be blessed with love, understanding, and prosperity. It is heartening to witness the coming together of two individuals in the sacred bond of marriage."
Following the ceremony, Ali Akbar Rizvi and Malika Ali Shirzade expressed their gratitude towards their family and friends. Ali Akbar Rizvi conveyed his appreciation, saying, "We are overwhelmed by the love and support of our family and friends who have joined us in celebrating this special day. Your presence has made this occasion truly memorable.” The couple also added, “We are very much lucky, fortunate and blessed to perform our nikah in the holy shrine of Imam Ali (A.S.)”
