Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday inaugurated the newly constructed building of Agricultural Engineering College in Jora near Raipur. During this, Chief Minister Mr.Baghel inspected the virtual classroom. In addition, he took information from the experts about the latest technologies being used in the agriculture sector. Agriculture Minister Mr.Ravindra Choubey, Agriculture Advisor to Chief Minister Mr.Pradeep Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Farmers Welfare Council Mr. Surendra Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Seed Corporation Mr.Agni Chandrakar, Chairman of Shakambhari Board Mr.Ramkumar Patel, MLA Mrs. Anita Yogendra Sharma, President of Raipur District Panchayat Mrs.Domeshwari Verma, Agriculture Production Commissioner Mr.Kamalpreet Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Dr. Girish Chandel were present.

Till now the Agricultural Engineering College was running in the other building. A new building has been constructed for the Agricultural Engineering College at a cost of Rs.6.23 crore in an area of 5430 square meters near Indira Gandhi Agricultural University. This newly constructed building has 8 classrooms, 1 modern virtual classroom, 11 laboratories, 2 conference halls, 400 square meters of workshop and an administrative section.
