Tea Post receives Best MSME Award by CASMB

Gujarat based tea chain ‘Tea Post’ has received the Foodpreneur of the Year-2021 MSME award by the Chamber for Advancement of Small & Medium Businesses (CASMB), Mumbai. The award was presented to Tea Post founder Mr Darshan Dashani in a virtual summit which took place last month.

On receiving the award, Tea Post founder Mr Darshan Dashani said, “Tea post was started with the tagline ‘Apni Chai ki Dukan’ and since its inception, it has been our constant endeavor to provide good quality hygienic and inexpensive tea to the tea lovers of the country with a good ambience. At ‘Tea Post’ we are extremely delighted to have received this award and we always believed in sustainable development so from the very first day we have been using biodegradable products to serve tea and snacks to our customers. Earlier there were many café’s which were dedicated to coffee but ‘Tea Post’ was started specifically to cater to the tea lovers and it was also a small attempt to turn the unorganized sector of selling tea which takes place through roadside tea vendors into an organized one. And this award reflects the ongoing efforts at ‘Tea Post’ for the same”.

‘Tea Post’ was selected by the CASMB from 450 entries it had received for ‘Foodpreneur of the year-2021’ award.

Last year ‘Tea Post’ was also appreciated by the Rajkot City police for its contribution during the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic where it provided round the clock refreshments to 1100 frontline warriors in Rajkot which included the Rajkot city police personnel’s, SRP jawans, home guards, GRD and traffic brigade jawans during the lockdown period.
