A stunning blend of glamour and cutting-edge creativity, The International Glamour Project (TIGP) made a grand entrance onto the world stage, presenting their long-awaited fashion line, 'TIGP Couture and Fashion,' at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week 2023. Established back in 2019 by the visionary pair of Dr. Swaroop Puranik and Dr. Akshata Prabhu, TIGP has rapidly risen to the peak of the fashion world, captivating the hearts of fashion aficionados and pageant enthusiasts worldwide. This monumental debut graced the stage on 30th September 2023 in the heart of Paris' 8th Arrondissement.

The project has already achieved legendary status by securing multiple coveted international pageant licenses, including Mrs. Universe, Mrs. International, Ms. & Mrs. Earth pageant, Teen International World, and Ms. International World. What sets TIGP apart is its commitment to nurturing and mentoring pageant contestants and fashion models through the esteemed TIGP Training Institute, headquartered in bustling Mumbai, India. This institute has been pivotal in producing international pageant champions, marking a significant milestone in TIGP's journey. However, Paris Fashion Week marked a more profound aspiration - to empower women and offer them platforms to become genuine role models. TIGP aims to transcend the fleeting allure of fashion by challenging stereotypes and promoting diversity, thus creating a brand that is a beacon of inclusivity, making fashion accessible to women from all walks of life.

The entire delegation of TIGP®️ Models consisted of 15 Signature Models namely Krishna Saraj from Kerala who has an MBA in Fashion, Deepika Saluja, an Investment Banker from Singapore (originally from Indore), Ashima Suri, a teacher from Canada (originally from Mumbai), Dr. Florence Helen Nalini, an entrepreneur & businesswoman from Chennai, Padmavati Uttarwar from Karnataka who is a PhD, Dr. Maithili Bhosekar, a dental surgeon from Canada (originally from Thane/Mumbai), Shrestha Sharma, a 10th-grader from Bangalore, Ryka Kulkarni, a 13-yr old talent from United Kingdom & Chiranthana Y, an aspiring medical student from Bangalore.

The blend of fresh faces and seasoned models, including the illustrious Victoria Henley from America's Next Top Model and Hannah Straat, Maddie Gray & Caroline Raad from USA, Polina Reza from Russia along with the remarkable Dr. Akshata Prabhu, CEO of The International Glamour Project and a professional model since 2002, formed a runway spectacle that exceeded expectations and showcased the immeasurable potential within the fashion world.

The runway unveiling of TIGP's fashion line during Paris Fashion Week was not just a spectacle; it was a valuable lesson in fashion innovation. Each piece in the collection was a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and an unwavering dedication to detail. The collection exuded sophistication, with each outfit carefully curated to highlight the uniqueness and elegance of the wearer. What set this runway apart was the inclusion of nine first-time models out of the fifteen who graced the stage, all of whom were registered trainees of the TIGP Training Institute.

It was a proud moment for the Founders & Mentors of TIGP® when a London-based Designer approached them to cast 3 of their TIGP® Models to walk for the next show at Paris Fashion Week. The 3 models being Ashima Suri, Deepika Saluja & Shreshtha Sharma. Dr. Akshata, Ms. International World 2021 & Chief Mentor at The International Glamour Project® says,"It's a proud moment to see our mentees get noticed as well as booked for more shows. That instills the faith in us as Founders that we are absolutely right on track with the training we provide at TIGP® Training Institute."

At the helm of TIGP is Dr. Swaroop Puranik, the visionary Managing Director, who brings a unique blend of innovation and wisdom to the project. His mission goes beyond the world of fashion; it is a mission to redefine beauty standards and celebrate the multifaceted forms of femininity. In a world that is increasingly embracing diversity and inclusivity, TIGP has taken its invaluable place at the forefront of this movement. The project's unwavering dedication to empowering women through fashion has resonated with audiences on a global scale, offering a progressive perspective on beauty and style.

Dr. Swaroop Puranik, the founder of TIGP, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-Calcutta), and a former Director of a prominent educational institution, is on a mission to democratize fashion education and personality development, bringing it to the grassroots of India. Dr. Akshata Prabhu, co-founder, a pediatric dental surgeon, and a supermodel since the early 2000s, shares the vision of integrating fashion into the daily lives of Indian women. Their shared source of inspiration comes from their daughter, Mirka Puranik, who graced the Paris Fashion Week runway alongside her parents, adding an immeasurable touch of inspiration to the project.
