Chirag Dawar, a man of many talents in the field of anchoring, recently reached a major milestone of 1500 shows when he hosted a show for the Bollywood music director and singer Nakash Aziz at a function organized by a well-known politician in Madhya Pradesh.
Chirag, a versatile anchor and singer hailing from Indore has anchored 1,500 shows for celebrities, big brands, corporates, wedding ceremonies etc. throughout his anchoring career spanning over 13 years. He has travelled in the nook and corner of the country and hosted events for popular personalities such as Pritam, Salim Sulaiman, Chef Vikas Khanna, Vishal Shekhar, Esha Gupta, Nitin Mukesh to name a few.
Nakash Aziz, Bollywood composer and singer invited Chirag Dawar to host an evening for the reputed political family in Madhya Pradesh. Nakash, who worked as an assistant to composer AR Rehman, is popular for playback performances of songs like "Jabra Fan" from Fan-2, "Sari Ke Fall Sa" and "Gandi Baat" from the film R... Rajkumar (2013) and "Dhating Nach" from film Phata Poster Nikhla Hero (2013); the latter two films of which were picturized on Shahid Kapoor.
"It was an awe moment for me to achieve a milestone of 1500 shows with Nakash Aziz in MP," Chirag Dawar said. "I started with nothing in life and achieved everything all by myself. I am a firm believer in Karma and always believe in overcoming adversity in our careers." Chirag is a classically trained musician who frequently uploads songs to his Instagram reels, which are popular among his large following. He'll be releasing a song soon. "There is no specific incident which has changed my career but I always wanted to be a singer but my fate has driven me to the show world. Socializing with people has always been a part of me, and it has now become a profession."
Among the 1500 shows he has done, the star anchor began with road shows, mall activations for kids and themed birthday parties, hosting haldi and sangeet ceremonies, and is now one of India's top anchors.
"Birthday parties have never been more talked about before, but making them larger than life is a feeling of accomplishment that clients have acknowledged many times," he said.
"There are so many new assignments in the pipeline - from hosting weddings and parties to writing and performing my own songs; there is still a lot to do," Chirag said.
