Vikas Shukla is a visionary who holds mastery over the IT domain. An engineer by profession, he struggled a lot during his early college days as information wasn't readily available for engineers. Apart from books and faculties, most knowledge wasn't easily accessible. So, he envisioned the idea of Engineering Insider, a website that would dive deep into the engineering concepts and would share the recent developments in technology around the globe. After that, he started the Facebook page Mechanical Engineering World which became a go-to Facebook page for millions of engineers across the country. His page has over 50 million followers and is among the second largest Facebook pages in India with such a massive fan following. Engineering insider also enjoys millions of website visitors each month because of its stellar content production. Vikas also launched a YouTube channel titled Unbox Engineering which would talk about complex systems. The channel is showing immense growth within such a short period and is now among the select few channels dedicated to the engineering industry.
Talking about the idea, Vikas Shukla says, " Education suffers from lack of information. Without it, we become a person with a graduate degree but no knowledge or practical experience. By building a community we get to share ideas and solve each other's queries. It fostered a 50 million community and that displays that quality information portals are the need of the hour. Our platform not only has students and teachers but industry experts and veterans who share their valuable experiences and insights that help the community.
