Britannia shares fall 7 pc after MD and CEO Varun Berry announces resignation

The company has appointed Rakshit Hargave as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, with effect from December 15, 2025, Britannia Industries Ltd said in a regulatory filing

Shares of Britannia Industries dropped by nearly 7 per cent on the bourses on Tuesday after the company's Vice-Chairman, MD and CEO Varun Berry resigned from his post after over a decade at the helm.
The scrip of the company plunged by 6.7 per cent each to Rs 5,721.70 and 5,723 apiece, on the BSE and NSE, respectively.
