With Diwali just around the corner, gold prices across India have been soaring high. The price of 10 grams of gold on Tuesday, October 14, has been recorded at Rs 125,437 for 10 grams in Mumbai. The surge in gold prices is driven by a combination of strong international cues, festive buying ahead of Dhanteras and Diwali, and a weaker rupee that has increased the cost of gold imports.
As per the market reports, 24-carat gold prices in the last few days have already touched fresh highs across key metro cities such as Kolkata, Delhi, and Mumbai, reflecting the growing investor and consumer demand for the precious metal.
