Gold prices today, January 28: Check rates in Mumbai, Delhi and other cities

Across major cities, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,61,940 per 10 grams in Mumbai and Kolkata, while Chennai recorded a higher rate of Rs 1,63,190. In the national capital, Delhi, the price stood at Rs 1,62,090

Gold prices edged lower in early trade on Wednesday, while silver registered a modest uptick, official data showed.
The rate of 24-carat gold slipped by Rs 10, with 10 grams trading at Rs 1,61,940. 22-carat gold also saw a marginal decline of Rs 10, selling at Rs 1,48,440 per 10 grams.
