For Mahhi Vij, this journey has been anything but easy. Despite showering her foster kids, Rajveer and Khushi, with the same love she gives her biological daughter Tara, she’s been subjected to harsh judgment on social media. In a special Mother’s Day interview with us at Mid-day, Mahhi opened up about how she’s dealing with constant criticism online.
Mahhi Vij on online trolling
Mahhi shared how people dissect her reels and everything that she posts, and still question her parenting when it comes to Tara and Khushi. She said, “Even if I have a reel where I’m holding Tara and Khushi, and I go close to Tara, they say, ‘She has her own child, so look what she is doing. She didn’t hold Khushi’s hand and all’.” On handling trolls, Mahhi said, “Trolling is part of social media. You do good, they’ll troll you. You do bad, they’ll troll you. It doesn’t affect me anymore. They even trolled Khushi for wearing makeup.”
