The Ambani clan is back with the wedding extravaganza as Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani is set to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant on July 12. 

However, this will be the third larger-than-life wedding for the Ambanis. Here’s looking back at Akash and Shloka Ambani’s grand nuptials filled with pre-wedding ceremonies up until the main event. 

Akash Ambani first made headlines after he proposed to his childhood sweetheart Shloka Mehta, the youngest daughter of Mona and Russell Mehta, who run Rosy Blue Diamonds.

After the intimate proposal, Shloka and the Ambanis visited Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai on the occasion of Ram Navami to seek blessings. As per reports, they studied together at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and have known each other for years. 

For their engagement, Akash chose a shade of maroon, while Shloka donned a pink Abu Jan-Sandeep Khosla ensemble for the occasion.

The pre-wedding festivities were hosted in Switzerland and was attended by the A-listers of B-town

For her mehendi ceremony, Shloka opted for a traditional navy blue and cream lehenga laced with heavy embroidery. 

Akash and Shloka tied the knot on March 9, 2019, in Mumbai. 

For the wedding, Shloka looked divine in her red and gold lehenga with a net dupatta with thin gold detailing and a choli with intricate embroidery and fine gold stitch. 

Hair in a bun, she went with a classic gajra and a subtle maangtika. 

She completed her bridal look with a kundan choker with green details and a long chain with matching earrings along with a nathani and chuda.

Aakash Ambani looked dapper in a sherwani and was all smiles on the special day. 

After a lavish wedding ceremony, there was a grand bash. Shloka looked like a vision in a beige-coloured heavy traditional saree coupled with a gorgeous neckpiece and earrings. Meanwhile, Akash looked an absolute dapper in a navy-blue sherwani with white pajama.
