Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" leads this year's Oscar nomination pack with 11 nods and "The Artist" is close behind with 10 nominations, while India's only hope "DAM 999" is out of the Academy Award race. The nominations were announced here Tuesday.
"Hugo", set in Paris of the 1930s, is about an orphan who lives in a train station, and is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton. It is adapted from Brian Selznick's novel "The Invention of Hugo Cabret".
