Director-choreographer Remo opens dance studio; keen to support underprivileged dancers

Remo D’souza has long nurtured the idea of building a dance institute. The dream will be realised this month as he will throw open the doors of Remo Fusion Dance Studio in a Juhu five-star. “I have a vertical called High On Dance; all the studio franchises fall under this umbrella,” says the director-choreographer.

His wife Lizelle will run the studio, which will offer lessons in 18 distinct dance forms. Keen that the trainers give undivided attention to the dance aspirants, D’souza has decided to take only 15 students per class. “We are roping in trained professionals from the industry and certified trainers to give lessons. I have always fostered new talent in everything I have done, and will continue doing so with this studio.”
