Today, on October 17th, 2023, a ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi, where National Award winners were felicitated by none other than President Droupadi Murmu. The winners were previously announced at a press conference for the 69th National Film Awards in August.

A total of 280 feature films from 28 languages and 158 non-feature films in 23 languages were submitted to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for National Award consideration. Alia Bhatt, who won the award for Best Actress for her performance in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi,' arrived at the venue wearing her wedding saree. The actress was presented with the award by the honourable president.
Apart from Alia, Allu Arjun, who became the first actor from the Telugu film industry to win a National Award in the Best Actor category, attended the ceremony in an all-white button-up suit. The actor was honoured for his phenomenal performance in the blockbuster film 'Pushpa: The Rise.'

Alia, who wore her wedding saree, completed her look with intricate and heavy jewellery, while her hair was tied in a chic bun decorated with flowers. She elevated her look by wearing a beautiful red bindi on her forehead. Ranbir, on the other hand, complemented his wife in a black button-up suit. The glamorous outfit is a creation by Sabyasachi.
Earlier in the day, Alia Bhatt was spotted at the airport with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor. The ever-present paparazzi captured her emerging from her car in a white ethnic suit paired with chic heels. The actress opted for a natural look and a sleek bun hairstyle. She greeted the cameras with a polite smile and a wave. She was accompanied by her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, who was in a casual black hoodie.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun was also accompanied by his wife, Sneha Reddy, who came to celebrate the actor's big win.
