Aamir Khan is known to be a perfectionist and this was only reiterated recently when the actor pushed himself too hard while working out. It may be pointed out that the actor has been following a fitness regime in order to get in shape for his role in Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming film, 'P.K.'

Recently, the actor took things a tad too far when he strained a muscle because of too much exercise. "I pushed myself too hard during a strenuous work out. I strained my muscle"” says Aamir Khan.

On Wednesday night, the superstar was spotted at a suburban physiotherapy centre, where he was treated for a muscle pull.

At his recent media appearances, Aamir has looked visibly bulkier, and has admitted to being a little lax on his regime. But sources say that he is now following a special diet where he eats every two hours, and then does a tough workout in order to shed the kilos. The final schedule of his film, 'P.K.', will begin in July in Mumbai.

Before this, Aamir Khan has tirelessly worked on his body for Ghajini in 2008, where he bulked up. In 'Dhoom 3', Aamir went for an agile look, given that he was playing a gymnast in it. Looks like this time around as well, the actor is no leaving no stone unturned!
