Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has fallen victim to death hoax. Fake news of the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' actress committing suicide went viral on social media.
The hoax claimed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tried to commit suicide by overdosing on tranquilizers after a dispute with her in-laws Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan.
The message that was circulating on WhatsApp and other social media platforms read that the Bachchans weren't happy with Aishwarya because of her steamy scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and her hot photo shoot with the co-star.
The hoax spread as the baseless message included a fake picture of a person lying bruised in a hospital bed, getting fans to think that person was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Putting all the rumours to rest, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the 50th birthday bash of fashion designer Manish Malhotra on Sunday.

We wonder what Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has to say about her death hoax. She, however, is not the first celebrity to fall victim to fake news about death. Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and several other Bollywood stars have been 'killed' by the internet.
