Riding on the Kambakkht Ishq wave right now, Akshay Kumar has already started work for his next film, Housefull, directed by Sajid Khan. The actor is presently in London shooting for the film. But Akshay is making sure he's not engrossed in work alone.

On Monday evening, after pack-up, the actor finally caught up on the film he'd been waiting to catch for a long timeu00a0Bruno, which is making waves internationally for its hardcore humour content.

Die-hard fan

Bruno is Sacha Baron Cohen's second mockumentary (after the controversial Borat) and has been topping box-office charts in the US (it grossed over Rs 150 crores in the opening weekend) and in the UK. Akshay, who's a die-hard fan of Sacha, had heard a lot about the film since its release. So when he got some time off, he made a dash for it.

Bruno, like Borat, is explicit in nature and is unlikely to release in India for the same reason. But Akshay believes it has taken adult comedy to a new level. "It's the most hilarious film I've seen in recent times. I was rolling with laughter," he says.

Akshay also believes there's a lesson for everyone in Bruno. "In a film like this, you don't go looking for any sense, sensibility or logic. It's just pure entertainment. You just have to sit back and enjoy it."

Wife Twinkle is expected to join him in London in the next couple of days. And when she arrives, Akshay plans to take her to see the film (his second time around). "I have to see it one more time. It's just too awesome," he says.

Akshay will be in London for the next 20 days after which the schedule of 'Housefull' will shift to Italy, where the rest of the film will be shot.

Akki and Anees again.... in thank you
Akshay Kumar has signed on to do a film titled Thank You, with producers UTV Motion Pictures and director Anees Bazmee. He has apparently got a huge paycheck for the film, at a time when most companies are handing out the 'recession' excuse.
A source from the industry says, "After giving two superhits together in Welcome and Singh is Kinng, Akki and Anees now want to see if they will be third-time lucky. The film will go on the floors by early next year. Neil Nitin Mukesh is also part of the film. This will be his first attempt at a comic caper. The leading ladies opposite both the actors are been finalised."
