Debutant director-actor Ravi Kapoor's World Cup 2011 which has match fixing as its backdrop will also shed light on the mysterious firing on director Mahesh Bhatt by gangster Ravi Pujari.

It was reported that Pujari wanted to kill Bhatt because he was allegedly linked to the underworld dons.
"The film will show whether Ravi Pujari really wanted to save Mumbai from the underworld dons or was Mahesh Bhatt a target of mistaken identity," says Kapoor.
