What's it about: There's a reason films like this one don't make it to Indian theatres on time (or at all, in some cases). For one, exploitation films rarely ever find a loyal audience in this country. Secondly, those that watch these films exist on the fringesu00a0-- nameless and faceless. Of course, I wouldn't go as far as calling Bitch Slap soft-porn. It is more than simply just that.

What's hot: Who doesn't love to drool to the sight of three hot women hosing each other down, having catfights with claws drawn, even playing with knives and guns and on the rare occasion, blowing up stuff for no good reason? You have stuntwoman Zoe Bell to thank for that. Jacobson's talents are contrived and limited and it takes cameos from cult favourites Xena: The Warrior Princess' cast to keep things on an even keel. In the name of titillation, the film leaves nothing to be desired, but that doesn't make this a film filled with sex and violence. Although, essentially, it does thrive on several generous portions of both. Sun Tzu and Joseph Conrad's words are thrown in for good measure and are some of the only words you'll take with you when you walk out of the theatre. This isn't a bad film, per se. But it isn't that good either.
What's not: You could stroll in at the start, miss/sleep through the middle of the film entirely and wake up at the climax, and still be be none the wiser for it. Or you really couldn't care less. In any case, you'll be more interested in the 'skin flick' element of the yarn rather than the 'story' itself
What to do: For something parading as ultra-feminism, it sure doesn't seem to have a mind of its own.
