One jhatka of her lustrous tresses can send quite a few hearts aflutter. Yes, we are talking about Sameera Reddy, whose long flowing hair is shiny to boot. Sameera shares her hair secrets with CS:
Keep it simple
I like to keep my hair looking natural, so I don't experiment too much with it. My natural hair looks best. I do use organic colour, but the post-hair colour treatment is very important for me. I believe that hair is a very sensitive part of the body and needs uttermost care. Too many chemicals can spoil the whole feel, so I like to stay away from them as much as I can.
My regime
I put methi oil in my hair and it really does the job. It keeps the hair all shiny and radiant, and even keeps the head cool. Once a week, I wash it with Shikakai. It helps maintain the bounce of the hair and is an excellent conditioner too. At times, I also apply curd since it is summer and curd is a great cooling agent for the scalp.
Pampering my locks
I love to pamper my hair. You can't have all that shine if you don't keep it all healthy and clean. You hair needs to get that dose of essential oils and massages. So I go regularly for a spa treatment ufffd once a week is a must. You should condition and use spray to protect your hair before you blow dry, or else your hair will be left all dry and frizzy. The spray keeps the hair in place and maintains its silky feel.
Diet wary
Include a lot of veggies in your diet and keep those stress levels down. In this pollution filled environment, we need to protect our hair and the best way to do this is to eat a lot of green vegetables and fruits. The stress-free atmosphere has to be maintained to keep it silky and bouncy.
My secret
I add serum to the hair conditioner for five minutes and leave it on after shampoo. It gives the hair a really nice shine. Also, I need constant hair treatment to remove the chlorine from my hair, as I swim a lot.
