Alia, who has been linked to co-stars Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, said she will not hide her feelings from the world when she eventually falls for somebody. "I have been hearing these rumours since I started my career. There were reports that I was dating Varun when I didn't know him. "I have stopped reacting because these rumours don't bother me. I believe that I should not bother about such stories when they are not true. If something ever happens, then I will definitely tell the world about it," Alia said.
She may not be in a relationship right now but Alia is very clear about what she wants in her 'Mr Darcy'. "The biggest thing that I will consider while in a relationship would be whether I connect to a person or not. Otherwise, I don't have any restriction. That person could be from the industry, a businessman or a diver."
The actress, who is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, started her career in Bollywood as a child artiste in 'Sangharsh', where she played the younger Preity Zinta. She debuted as lead with Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year'. Alia will be next seen in Johar's '2 States', which is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name. She is paired opposite Arjun, who teaches her Hindi on the sets.
"Arjun is a great co-star. He corrects my Hindi pronunciations as I am very poor in the language. I am a big fan of him and was totally bowled over by his performance in 'Ishaqzaade'," she said.
Apart from '2 States', the actress has wrapped up shooting for Imtiaz Ali's road romance 'Highway' with Randeep Hooda. "For 'Highway', I again went back to Kashmir after shooting the song 'Ishq Wala Love' from my debut film. I am lucky that in the beginning of my career, I am getting various roles and directors to work with," she said.u00a0
