Deepika Padukone has proved to be lucky for Vijay Mallya's Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB has won every single match that the actress attended.

Apart from being sport enthusiasts, the actress and the liquor baron also share a long-standing connection with the Garden City. Sources reveal that Deepika has been invited by Mallya to attend the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore later this year. She will be there to support the Force India Team.

Lucky mascot
A source says, "The Mallya family is extremely fond of Deepika. She has proved to be a lucky mascot for them with IPL. Now she's been invited to attend the race in Singapore in September."

Deepika confirms, "Dr Mallya knows how enthusiastic I am about sports. The Force India team and he have been kind enough to invite me to the races. I will try and go for as many as I can this season."

When asked about her travel dates, Deepika states, "I haven't decided yet. It depends on my schedule but it would be great to see the night race in Singapore."

That was then
Last year, she attended the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi and interacted not only with Force India drivers Adrain Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi but also the other international teams.
