Dino says, "I was taking a stroll when I saw this two-foot long turtle that had washed ashore. It was huge and really beautiful. It's fin was broken and it looked quite distressed.
I told the fishermen to hand it over to me, but they refused to do so and insisted on putting him back in the ocean. Soon, au00a0 huge crowd collected and people started taking picture., I was worried for the turtles' safety."
The actor stuck around to see that the turtle wasn't treated badly by a miscreant. "I didn't know what they'd do with the turtle. After a while, I asked one of my boys to take care of it while I made a few phone calls to a vet who's a specialist in turtles.
By the time she arrived, the forest officials were taking the turtle to Borivali National Park. On further inspection, they realised the turtle's fin was an old injury that had completely healed."
Later that evening, the turtle was safe and on its way back home, Dino says, "I am glad I was around to take care of it. The doctors have done a check-up and made sure it's safe to go back in the ocean."
