There's no better way of spending the holiday season than with loved ones. And actor Dino Morea fully endorses this philosophy. "My folks have come down from Bangalore and we are having a blast," he says. Dino takes a break from all the family fun to chat with CS about his ongoing festive vacation:
Festive fever
As usual, Christmas was with family. We went for the midnight mass at Mount Mary Church, Bandra. On Christmas day, many of our friends and relatives came home for a huge potluck dinner.
Since every one got some dish or the other, we had a massive spread and the food was awesome.
My mom baked a big Christmas cake and her special pudding. Then, we opened our gifts that were kept in the stockings.
New Year's retreat
I spent the New Year at a friend's farmhouse near Pune. We were just the three of us. The weather was great and the place couldn't have been more peaceful.
It felt great to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and have some quiet time with myself. We had a lady to cook some fantastic Maharashtrian meals for us. I caught up on a few films like Inception, Social Network and a Turkish film Soul Kitchen on this break.u00a0
Looking forward
This year you'll see me wearing the producer's hat for the first time, and I hope to make my upcoming film a success. But before getting back to work, I need to hit the gym. I haven't been workingout at all since Christmas. Now, the holiday period is over and it's time to sweat it out.u00a0
