The four no good, greedy guys from Dhamaal are back. Roy (Ritesh), Adi (Arshad), Manav (Jaaved) and Boman (Ashish) are stupid enough to think they can make money without having to go through the usual work-your-butt-off way. They encounter their foe from the original movie, Karbir Nayak (Dutt) and noticing that he has struck gold, they decide to latch on to him. But Kabir has a bigger plan. He is actually trying to con the four fools, with the help of his sister Kiah (Kangna) and girlfriend Kamini (Mallika).

Those of you, who like to think you have refined taste in movies and humour, don't even go near this one. Double Dhamaal, is silly, very silly. In fact, at points some dialogues and scenes are unbelievably inane. But then, in spite of the stupidity, and sometimes because of it, the film makes you giggle, snigger and sometimes roar with laughter. That I guess is the purpose well served for a film, which at no point pretends to be not brainless. In fact, it revels in its unabashed silliness.

The dialogues by Farhad-Sajid makes fun of films (a hilarious take on My Name is Khan and Guzaarish), mimics actors and generally goes the whole hog. Ritesh is in excellent form, especially his impersonation of late actor Sanjeev Kumar. Javed and Arshad are good. Ashish's drag out is perhaps one of the best in Hindi films. The actor actually manages to look like a sexy lady.

The girls, however, are not really as sexy. Apart from wearing hideous clothes (whatever happened to her style sense?) Kangana screeches, hams and speaks with a funny accent. It seems like she didn't know what to do with herself in a comic movie. Mallika's okay and her much publicised Jalebi Bai number is hot. Satish Kaushik stands out with his performance as a failing Don, Bata Bhai. This don speaks in filmi terms and Kaushik's comic timing as usual is near perfect. Sanjay Dutt is his usual goofy self.

Illogical, at times crass, double meaning dialogues, and of course, the stupidity of it all, this film has all the recipes for a disaster. But it's the mad humour that's the saving grace. A good laugh or two is always worth the ticket price. Totally forgettable but watch it once to bust that stress.
