Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar are known to be names to reckon with in the industry. However, if sources are to be believed all may not be well between the two producers, who were the names behind the upcoming film, Badtameez Dil, which was set to go on the floors in September.

Rumours are that after hitting several roadblocks, the makers have decided to apparently shelve the film. The project was to star Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor and was scheduled to be helmed by director Akshay Roy.

Initially there was buzz about some creative differences between the co-producers. Next, Bebo apparently refused to shoot for intimate scenes with her co-star, post which Emraan allotted the dates of this film to his next project, all this leading to further delays in the film.

Says a source, “Anticipating a further delay, the makers considered casting fresh faces. But the matter seems to have gone out of the hand now, as there have also been too many creative changes in the script. Ekta and Karan’s differences have made it worst.”

However, the CEO of the production house, Tanuj Garg, denies the rumours.

Ekta and Karan remained unavailable for comment.u00a0
