The sizzling dudes of Garam Masala come together after four years for one of the costliest rom-coms of 2010
Akshay Kumar and John Abraham will feature in a young romantic-comedy, which will be directed by David Dhawan's 25-year-old son Rohit. Co-produced by Akshay, the film is slated to be one of the biggest and most expensive films of 2010.

Says a source close to Khiladi Kumar, "Akshay loved the script, which has been penned by Rohit Dhawan. It's a young and cool movie, which stars John and Akshay u2013 the hottest hunks in B-Town today and is scheduled to roll mid-2010."
Pappu on hold
Rohit was to make his directorial debut with Come On Pappu, to be by Percept and Akshay Kumar's production company, Hari Om Productions. The film focused on the relationship between a chimp and the lead character (played by Akshay) and was to star Sonam Kapoor as the lead heroine. The film also had Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan and others in special appearances.
For old time's sake
The source says, "Carry On Pappu has been on hold for some time but Akshay didn't want Rohit's careeru00a0 to come to a halt. He loved Rohit's rom-com script and decided to produce it himself along with Studio 18."
He adds, "Few people know that Akshay has got a kind heart. He has often gone out of his way to help those who had helped him when he started his career. Besides, he has not forgotten that David has given him one of the biggest hits of his career Mujhse Shaadi Karogi."
