Last week, a tabloid reported that Ajay Devgn had walked out of Prakash Jha's Aarakshan. Now it is rumoured that he is no longer part of Raj Kumar Santoshi's Power also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor.
No multi-starrers
Says an industry source, "Ajay feels that after having given four hits like All The Best, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and now Golmaal 3 he's in a position to do better films not multi-starrers.

He doesn't want to be lost in the crowd, like he was in Raajneeti.u00a0Currently, Ajay is in London shooting for Tezz and will inform Santoshi about his decision when he returnsu00a0 tomorrow."
Ajay feels that his last issue-based film Aakrosh didn't do well as it wasn't handled and promoted well. He feels that he has evolved into a good actor and films should revolve around him now.

He received a lot of critical acclaim and appreciation from the audiences for OUATIM and is looking forward to doing more central roles with talented filmmakers. He is open to both action and comedy.
His next film with Rohit Shetty, Singham is an action-thriller, while Bol Bachchan (again directed by Shetty) stars Ajay and Abhishek Bachchan and is a comic entertainer.
Devgn's business manager Kumar Mangat Pathak laughs off the rumours. "Ajay is doing Power. There's no such issue as such.
There's a clashing of dates between Ajay's different films because the Tezz schedule got postponed by a month.
Aarakshan needed block dates of 45 dates for February next year but then Ajay starts shooting for my film. After that there is Power also and a couple of other films. We are sorting out the dates."
