As Fawad Khan turns 35 today, here's a look at his work that catapulted him to instant stardom in Bollywood and became a heartthrob of millions. Fawad Khan made his debut in 'Khoobsurat' in 2014 opposite Sonam Kapoor. The female audiences went gaga over his portrayal of a Prince in the film.

Fawad Khan's was already a household name in Pakistan due to his role in the hit television shows such as 'Humsafar', 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai' and his debut show was a lesser known show called as 'Jutt And Bond'. He was also a part of a rock band called as 'Entity Paradigm'.
After his role in 'Khoobsurat' grabbed much eyeballs and fan following he was signed in Karan Johar's 'Kapoor And Sons' a family drama opposite Alia Bhatt. He played the role of a closeted homosexual in the film. The film was nuanced so well, that not once was the word 'homosexual' used in it. Nevertheless, Fawad gave a path-breaking performance in the film. Fawad pretty much stole the thunder from the other actor in 'Kapoor And Sons', Sidharth Malhotra.
After 'Kapoor And Sons', Fawad Khan was roped in Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', which was doomed as it was amidst a lot of political warfare. The movie was released, but it seemed like Fawad's role was chopped to impress the audiences. And this film proved to be the final appearance of Fawad Khan in Bollywood. The film starred Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and a cameo from superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Fawad Khan, is a diabetic as he suffered an injury to his pancreas due to an accident. Despite of his ailment, the actor shows no signs of stopping. He is happily married to his teenage sweetheart, Sadaf and the couple are parents to two beautiful children- Ayaan and Elayna.
