After shooting extensively in Singapore for his earlier outing as the superhero Krrish, Hrithik Roshan is now Switzerland bound. The actor will be shooting for the third outing of his sci-fi sequel in the Alps. His director father Rakesh Roshan’s production has already had major shooting stints in Mumbai and Hyderabad ever since filming began in December.

Says a source, “The unit is slated to shoot in Switzerland in early October. At the moment preparations are on for the schedule. Switzerland is the top choice though other European countries are also being considered. The plan is to have a distinct landscape as the backdrop for the film.”

Krrish, the film’s earlier outing in 2006 is a sequel to his 2003 flick Koi… Mil Gaya which was shot in the hilly terrains of north India, especially in Himachal Pradesh. The action had shifted amidst Singapore’s glass-façade structures in the second part.

Adds the source, “For the third part, the makers have decided to have the superhero indulge in the action sequences in the snowy terrains. Switzerland’s landscape especially the picturesque glaciers and mountains came up as the best option for the shoot.”

Apart from essaying the title role in the film, which has Priyanka Chopra as his co-star, Hrithik has also been taking a keen interest in all the aspects of the project. The star has worked hard to get his physique right for the role, now he wants the locations too to be picture perfect. So what better choice than Switzerland?
