If sources are to be believed, the actor has insisted on shooting a song for Siddharth Anand's film, 'Bang Bang', even though he has a ligament tear in both his knees.
Says a source, "Hrithik has a ligament tear in both his legs, which is why he has been advised to take rest. But the actor wants to shoot for the song and wrap up the film's shoot. In fact, he is adamant that they finish the shoot despite his injury."
The source adds that Hrithik has been diagnosed with 40 percent ligament tear in both his knees."His doctor has suggested bed rest but he doesn’t want the film crew to suffer because of him," says the source.
Turns out that the song is a catchy one and it needs Hrithik to dance quite a bit. "Hrithik made a video of the dance steps that he has to do and he showed it to his doctor to seek his opinion. His doctor has reluctantly allowed him to shoot for two days; he will also be present on the sets," says a source close to the actor.
Hrithik remained unavailable for comment.
